5 Year Ceramic Coating

This LDV D90 received a complete paint enhancement and 5-year ceramic coating package, designed to restore gloss, maximise protection, and keep the vehicle looking its best for years to come. We began with a thorough pre-wash to safely break down dirt and contaminants, followed by a complete wheel, tyre, and wheel arch detail. The vehicle then underwent a careful contact wash before moving into the decontamination stage, where an iron fallout treatment and clay bar process were used to remove embedded contaminants and leave the paintwork perfectly smooth.

With the paint fully decontaminated, we carried out a single-stage paint correction to reduce light swirl marks, enhance clarity, and restore depth and gloss throughout the vehicle. Once the correction stage was complete, every panel was meticulously prepared using a panel wipe solution to ensure a perfectly clean surface for coating application. The 5-year ceramic coating was then professionally applied to the entire exterior, creating a durable protective layer that enhances gloss, repels water, dirt, and contaminants, and provides long-term protection against the harsh Queensland sun.

The result is a noticeably deeper gloss, improved colour clarity, and a slick hydrophobic finish that causes water and dirt to bead and roll away with ease. This not only keeps the vehicle looking cleaner for longer but also makes routine washing significantly easier. With proper maintenance, the coating will help preserve the D90's appearance for years to come while adding an impressive level of shine and protection that traditional waxes simply cannot match.
