Exterior Preparation & Decontamination

We began with a thorough exterior pre-wash and contact wash to remove built-up dirt, road grime and contaminants accumulated through years of work.

The paintwork then underwent chemical and clay decontamination to remove embedded contaminants and prepare the surface for machine polishing.

Single-Stage Paint Correction

Once the paintwork was properly prepared, we carried out a single-stage machine paint correction, carefully working across each panel to remove oxidation, reduce swirl marks and improve the overall finish.

Particular attention was given to restoring the depth and clarity of the metallic black paint, which had lost much of its original appearance.

The paintwork was then finished with a ceramic sealant to enhance gloss and provide added protection.

The transformation was remarkable.

The once faded, oxidised and lifeless paintwork has been brought back to a deep, rich metallic black finish, with impressive gloss, clarity and reflections.

Swirl marks and surface imperfections have been significantly reduced, allowing the metallic finish to shine through once again.

Despite its demanding life as a work vehicle, this Hilux now has the glossy, reflective appearance its paintwork was designed to have.

From dull and heavily weathered to deep, glossy and reflective, this Hilux is a perfect example of the difference a professional single-stage paint correction can make.
