This 2024 Toyota Hilux Workmate came to us showing the effects of a demanding life as a landscaping work ute. Spending most of its time outdoors and regularly exposed to dirt, dust and the elements, its once-bright white paintwork had become dull, oxidised and lacking its original gloss. With faded exterior trims and built-up grime throughout, this relatively new Hilux was already looking far more weathered than its age suggested. Our Single-Stage Paint Correction was the perfect solution to restore its appearance and bring back the clean, professional finish it deserved.
Exterior Deep Cleaning & Decontamination
We began with a thorough exterior pre-wash and contact wash, removing accumulated dirt, landscaping dust, road grime and environmental contamination.
Particular attention was given to the wheels, tyres, door jambs, panel gaps and exterior crevices, where dirt had built up through everyday work.
The paintwork then underwent chemical and clay decontamination to remove embedded contaminants and prepare the surface for machine polishing.
Single-Stage Paint Correction
Once the paintwork was thoroughly cleaned and prepared, we carried out a single-stage machine paint correction, carefully working across each panel to remove surface oxidation, reduce light imperfections and restore the paint's original clarity.
The correction process transformed the dull, weathered white paintwork, bringing back its brightness, depth and gloss.
Exterior Trim Restoration & Protection
The faded exterior trims were carefully treated to restore their darker appearance, creating a sharp contrast against the freshly corrected white paintwork.
We completed the detail with a ceramic sealant to enhance gloss and provide added protection against everyday environmental exposure.
2024 Toyota Hilux Workmate
Gold Coast, Queensland
The difference was impressive.
The once dull, oxidised white paintwork has been transformed into a bright, glossy and reflective finish, bringing back the clean appearance this 2024 Hilux should have.
The exterior trims look darker and refreshed, while the removal of built-up dirt and contamination has dramatically improved the vehicle's overall presentation.
Despite its demanding role as a landscaping work ute, the Hilux now looks significantly cleaner, sharper and more professionally presented.
For a business vehicle, appearance matters. A well-maintained work ute doesn't just look better — it helps create a positive impression when arriving at customers' homes and job sites.
From a dull, weathered landscaping ute to a glossy, professionally presented work vehicle, this Hilux demonstrates how a single-stage paint correction can restore the appearance of even a relatively new vehicle exposed to demanding conditions.
